Colours & Markup Validation Service

Adobe Kuler allows us to select a range of colour rules.

The three main ones I need are Analogous, Monochromatic and Complementary.

What is Analogous?
If you think of the colour wheel as wedges of a pie, the colors in one-fourth of the pie are analogous. Three colors next to each other on the colour wheel comprise an analogous colour scheme.

What is Monochromatic?
In this type of scheme, various darker shades, grayer tones, and paler tints of the main colour may be included in the palette.

What is Complementary?
A complementary colour scheme uses colours across the colour wheel from each other as the main focus
