HTTP - (Web Browser) Port 80
HTTPS - (Web Browser (Safe)) Port 443
FTP - (File Transfer) Port 20
SMTP - (Sending E-mail) Port 25
POP3 - (Receiving E-mail) Port 110

  1. Yep - check the detail of FTP. It actually uses two ports one for commands (like change remote directory, create directory etc) and one for the data being uploaded. If you don't have an ftp client get hold of one (like Filezilla) and have a play.
